About the firm
Amer Ali Law is an Ontario law firm focused on residential real estate. We work virtually, which means the parts of a closing that never needed a boardroom no longer happen in one.
The firm was established in 2019 with a straightforward premise: most of a real estate closing is document review, communication and coordination, and none of that requires a client to take an afternoon off work.
We keep an office in Orleans for clients who prefer to meet in person, and we act on transactions throughout Ontario. Where the property is does not change how the file runs.
Residential real estate is the core of the practice rather than a sideline: purchases, sales, refinancing, new-construction purchases, and closings structured around halal financing arrangements.
We also handle wills and powers of attorney, business transactions, and notary work. Where a matter falls outside what we do, we will say so and point you toward someone who handles it.

Not to realtors, not to brokers, not to anyone who is not a licensee. Ontario’s rules do not permit it, and we would not do it regardless.

Legal fee, disbursements, land transfer tax and title insurance, itemized in writing, before you decide anything.

We will not ask you to transfer funds urgently to a new account. A message like that is not from us.

Where something falls outside what we do, we will tell you and point you toward someone who handles it.
