Ontario’s electronic land-registration system allows us to search title, prepare documents and complete registration from anywhere in the province. Documents are exchanged securely and signing takes place by video, while municipal taxes, utilities, condominium records, land transfer tax and other local requirements are addressed according to the property and municipality involved.

No. Amer Ali Law handles real estate transactions involving properties throughout Ontario. Title searches, document preparation and registration are completed electronically, while meetings and signing appointments can usually be conducted remotely.
You receive access to our secure client portal to complete your intake, upload documents and verify your identity. Before closing, we provide your final figures and meet with you by video to review and sign the required documents. We then complete the closing and registration electronically.
Keys are typically released through the realtors, a lockbox, the builder or another arrangement established for the transaction. We notify you as soon as the purchase has closed and the seller’s lawyer has authorized the release of the keys.
For a purchase or sale, contact us as soon as your Agreement of Purchase and Sale has been accepted. For a refinance, title transfer or new-construction closing, contact us once you receive the lender, builder or financing documents so the requirements can be reviewed early.
